Dr. Mario Martinez investigated a case of stigmata (Christ like wounds) in Mexico City for National Geographic. This is the first time in the history of stigmata (since St. Francis of Assisi in the 13th century) that blood samples were analyzed to see how the immune system responds to this mysterious condition.
