The Institute of Biocognitive Psychology Offers CERTIFIED INSTRUCTOR IN BIOCOGNITION* Nashville, Tennessee
Taught by Mario E. Martinez, Psy.D. The Institute of Biocognitive Psychology offers advanced training for graduates of the Diplomate in Biocognitive Psychology leading to a Certified Instructor in Biocognition diploma. The Certified Instructor in Biocognition program (CIB) provides advanced training for graduates interested in teaching biocognitive theory and practice as well as for further personal development. The didactic-experiential training program will be presented in 3 consecutive three-day modules within a period of 6 to 8 months. Additionally, online forum topics will be interjected between modules for students to discourse as their non-classroom component of the training. During the second module, students can choose a topic of interest in biocognitive theory that they would like to present during the practicum sections of the course. As part of their didactic training, students may also choose to serve as moderators for diplomate student forums as well as to co-present workshops with Dr. Martinez and other CIB graduates. The classes are limited to a maximum of 20 students. All the classroom modules are taught in Nashville, TN. Diplomate graduates not interested in meeting requirements for the CIB diploma may register for any of the 3 modules no later than 30 days before the module starts. The modules can be taken out of sequence and still meet requirements for the CIB diploma if the missing modules are completed the next time offered. * In addition to the CIB diploma, graduates will receive a Certificate of Continuing Education Credits from Tennessee State University. He specializes in psychoneuroimmunology and has published numerous professional articles on biocognition. In his new psychological novel "The Man from Autumn", he explores how the mysterious stigmata can help the health sciences understand the biocognitive codes that wound and heal the body. Dr. Martinez has investigated cases of alleged stigmata for the Catholic Church, the BBC and National Geographic. NOTICE CIB graduates will have a comprehensive understanding of biocognitive psychology that can be applied to their personal lives or to their professions.
