Our wishes are granted at the speed of our beliefs and the strength of our actions . By not understanding that universal principle, we either engage in wishful intention without productive action or we postpone our joy until a future that never materializes. In this workshop participants will learn how to break from the social trance that robs our serenity and feeds our fears.

Dr. Martinez is a clinical psychologist who lectures worldwide on his theory of Biocognition (how cultural beliefs affect the immune system and longevity) and on his concept of relationships called Guardians of the Heart . He specializes in psychoneuroimmunology and has published numerous professional articles on Biocognition. In his new psychological novel The Man from Autumn , he explores how modern cognitive science and the contemplative methods of Eastern/Western mystical theologies can converge to understand the mystery of stigmata and the psycho-spiritual conflicts that contribute to psychiatric and autoimmune disorders. Dr. Martinez has investigated cases of alleged stigmata for the Catholic Church, the BBC and National Geographic. |
